House In The Woods Guide Service is in a small town in central Maine called Lee. We are located sixty miles north of Bangor and about sixty miles from Canada. I have been a logger for over thirty years and grew up hunting and fishing in Maine. I cut logs on my own land and had them processed by a local sawyer, and I converted my shop into a hunting lodge, which is very rustic. One of my dreams has been to guide other people and have them experience the Maine woods as I have for years. Our guide service was established in 1998 and we are growing each year. We have made many good friends and want to continue to make many more.

We can lodge up to ten people, and you have the option to do your own cooking or have us do it for you. We have hunting , fishing and recreation. We offer day trips down a quiet stream in a canoe or kayak where you will see wildlife, beaver houses, and beautiful scenery. It's a beautiful place to take pictures and enjoy nature. We will also take you through the woods on foot to look for wildlife and to learn about the Maine woods. We take small or large groups, families or individuals.
